Exit poll Alfero 2013

I’m busy racking my Pinot Nero Alfero 2013, which completes it’s maturing sur lie today. As they say “it’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good”.

Cold, late, damp and difficult harvest?

The wine is telling me that everything was fine after all: very little hail and no damage from the tornado on the 29th of July.

In nature, sometimes it takes very little, especially when you’re dealing with very sensitive individuals.

Vendemmia fresca, tardiva, umida e difficile?

Lui mi sta dicendo di essersi trovato a proprio agio ed esser stato fortunato: pochissima grandine e non danneggiato dalla tromba d’aria del 29 Luglio.

In natura alle volte basta poco soprattutto quando si ha a che fare con individui molto sensibili.
